Nest thermostat issues

Rick41

So I’m having an interesting issue with my 2 nest thermostats I have in my restaurant. Recently we replaced the old programmable thermos with 2 new Nest Learning Thermos. One is on the east side and the other is on the west side. Both thermos are wired exactly the same. Both sides of the restaurant have their own separate heating and cooling systems. The thermostat on the east side will cool just fine but when heating, the furnace just cycles on and off continuously. The thermostat on the west side does the exact opposite; it heats just fine, but the cooling just continuously cycles on and off. We tried switching the thermostats with each other but there was no change, so I have to assume it’s not the thermostats. I am reaching out to see if anyone has ever experienced anything like this before? Also, as a side note: the wiring to the furnaces and A/C units is identical to the wiring on the thermostats. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you.

Hi Rick41,

Thanks for posting here in Community forum, and I'm sorry to hear about the situation. Can you help me with the photo of your previous thermostat wires and the photo of how you wired them to the Nest Learning Thermostat?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best,

Zoe
