I’m having the same issue. Mine started 3 days ago.

Hey there,

Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to drop in here to help.

I understand that wifi issues in regards to your thermostat can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Please let me know.

Best regards,

Garrett DS

Hi Garrett,

Thanks for getting back to me.  Definitely still not working.   Firstly I rebooted my WiFi router.  This made no difference and all my other wireless devices were working fine.  I then did a reset on the nest thermostat itself.  I also searched for networks on the nest and it did not find one.  My phone for example finds 5 networks.
thanks,
Geoff

Hey there @GeoffWyatt, @accavazos, and @Kenzdad

Sorry to hear you're all having the same issues with your thermostat. Is there any error message that you are seeing on the display? I know some of you have tried a factory reset on your device, but if you have not tried that, I would suggest giving that a try as well.

I would also suggest reviewing this article as it will have some great troubleshooting steps in it as well.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Best regards,

Garrett DS

No error messages showing,  I have just gone through your troubleshooting article with no luck only now I have removed the thermostat (following the advice) from my home app and can’t re add it without the WiFi connection.  Is there somewhere I can escalate the complaint as I don’t seem to be getting any closer to a solution?

I did the same things as Geoff did, plus uninstalled the device from my app and tried to reinstall the device to app.  This issue is only affecting one of my thermostats.  Also, initially the thermostat wasn't picking up any networks and I had to type mine in.  Now, it's picking my network up but still it won't connect.

I’m having exactly same problem. This happened on the other thermostat and after 2 weeks of no thermostat to control AC, I got replacement thermostat two days ago. Now the second unit is having same problem. I’ve tried suggestions as others have described but not connected

thermostat does control system to which it is attached
