Nest thermostat replacement

Please help before I launch this thing.!!

So my Nest thermostat (heat link one), lost apparently network and tried resetting and that never worked..

Now have a replacement Nest chrome, and trying to set up.. get as far as scan back.. then app says network error 🤬 @everyone

You have a replacement display and an original Heat Link, is that correct?

You say - - ''get as far as scan back'' - What do you mean by that?

I think you are saying the display and the Heat Link will not talk to each other is that correct? Do you get to the screen where it searches and then does not connect and you get to a screen saying H71 by any chance?
