Hi All,
in multiple searches can't seem to find just an electrical schematic for what's inside a Nest Thermostat so that I can determine whether my older boiler type furnace is compatible and buy one.
Just need to know whether there is a mechanical relay (max ratings), SCR, etc? inside Nest that I can connect as a low impedance switch to my simple thermostat (Honeywell bimetallic Hg on/off switch with 24-27 Vac for on/off control).
Anyone send me a link to that? thanks in advance!

Hello Nickle,
Thanks for reaching out. I'd be happy to take a look into this for you.
The majority of 24 V systems, even older ones, may be used with Google Nest thermostats. They are compatible with all commonly used fuels, including electricity, natural gas, and oil.
Have a look at this article and let us know if you need more help.
Thanks,
Mark
