Hi,
I have a Nest thermostat (3 generation) that no longer connects to wifi. It stopped working. I have done all the troubleshooting steps in other discussion posts to no avail (restart, reset factory settings, rebooted router). I'm looking for help and I am happy to go through the troubleshooting again. However, I strongly believe this unit requires replacement.
Please, help me.
Thanks,
Monique

I'm having the same problem. Seems like it might be a systemic issue?

Just had the exact same thing happen. Contacted support and they're replacing the unit. Never would have bothered contacting them if you hadn't shared your story, surprised it was so easy! Thanks!

I have had this numerous times and have only just realised why.
This may only be for techies that do this but if anyone is using a custom DNS server via pi-hole or other.. if your pihole server is down (say after a power cut, when this issue often seems to present itself for me).. remember to sort your DNS/pi-hole out first else it won't like it.
I appreciate this may not be the reason/solution for everyone but it baffled me for longer than I care to admit after power cuts. Only today it dawned on me after doing some electrical work at home!
