Nest thermostat wifi connectivity problem

Juliebdubs
Community Member

We have had our nest for nearly 6 months, and today it’s no longer connected to our internet. Nothing has changed, phones and computers and upstairs nest is still connected just fine. We have followed the troubleshooting guide and can’t get it connected…it can’t even find the network. We have restarted the nest, restarted the router, etc and nothing. What’s going on? How do I fix this issue?

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

  1. Press the thermostat ring to open the Quick View menu.
  2. Select Settings .
  3. Turn the ring until Network appears.

Do you see an "Error - nest.com/w5" message?

Hello folks,

I wanted to ensure that everything was covered here.

Thanks for the help, @David_K.

I appreciate all the steps you've taken, @Juliebdubs. I'd love to know more about this. Are you seeing any message codes on your thermostat, as mentioned above? Also, is your thermostat still able to control your system even without the network? Let us know so we can move forward.

Regards,

Mark
