My existing thermostat has Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Orange and White wires. But the White wire is not connected. Instead, there is a small jumper wire between "W2/X2" and "W1" ? What do I do with the White wire on the Nest thermostat?

Hello Likenwater,
Thank you for taking the time in letting us know about your inquiry. I'd be happy to take a look into this for you.
Nest thermostats do not use jumper wires. If your current thermostat has jumper wires, do not connect them to your Nest thermostat. To ensure your system's compatibility with the Nest thermostats, could you tell us the make and model of your HVAC system? Also, please send us a picture of your existing thermostat showing the wire diagram.
Looking forward for your response.
Thanks,
Mark
