Nest thermostat won’t find WiFi , also continually asking for correct date and time

Hi, for no apparent reason, my Nest thermostat has lost connection to the WiFi network.  It now won’t find our WiFi network at all, so can’t connect and can’t update.

It has now also started asking for the correct date and time to be entered.  We do this but it requests again the next day.

We have followed all the tutorials but have had no luck.  Is there any help out there, or does it mean throwing the thermostat in tne bin?

Many thanks

@LPC1122

It sounds like a power problem.

How is it wired?

Does it have a C wire installed?

Hi, all wired in fine.  Had that checked.  Unit is charging fine.  @Patrick_Caezza

@LPC1122

Have you gotten any error codes?

Can you see any WiFi networks on the network screen?

Can you post a picture of the Nest's baseplate wiring/

Keep getting the w5 error code but the unit can’t find my WiFi network.  Everything else in tne house is connected to it correctly, as was the best until a couple of weeks ago. @Patrick_Caezza

@LPC1122

The W5 error code means there is possibly something wrong with the thermostat.

Give this procedure a try and then contact support via the included link in step 3.
