Nest thermostat

Installed the nest thermostat as directed, we have a looped rh and rc wire, we put the red into the r slot, g to g, y to y, ww1 to w and blue to c, only the ac came on and the home app said our nest was incompatible, I guess bc we have a ac heat pump and gas furnace . Our issue is, where do we put the red wire so it can jump as noted in this forum. Thanks.

Thanks for posting here in the Community forum and for showing interest in our Nest Thermostats. Are you located in North America or Europe? What is the make and model of your heat pump system? And could you send us a photo of your current thermostat wiring configuration and a photo of how you connected the wires to the Nest Thermostat base so I can take a closer look?
