I’m in Texas. Our Nest settings appears to regulated by an outside party. It is continuously reset to above 80 (we keep it at 78) during the hottest hours. This was confirmed by a person called in to do a AC tuneup who said that they utility company can do this through an agreement with Nest or other smart app company and some clause we unwittingly agreed to when downloading the Nest app to the phone. Anyone else experiencing this? The AC guy says he hears numerous complaints and that “he’s never seen it like this year.’”
