Nest thermostat

Hi all!

I can’t seem to connect my Nest thermostat with my Google Home app. It paired correctly with its own Nest app, but when I try to link it with Google Home I get nowhere.

When I try to add the device, the Nest option doesn’t appear in the “Works with Google” list.

Any suggestions?

I now managed to get the Nest app to appear from the “works with Google list”, but when I try to sign in, it won’t recognise my details, as I had already merged my account with Google in the past.

Has anyone got any idea?

Hi Dbo77os,

I'm sorry for the delay. Thanks for your efforts here. Since your thermostat is paired to your Nest app you don’t need to set it up with your Google Home app. All you have to do is to sign in your account.

Here’s how:

1. Open the Google Home app.
2. Sign in using your Google account > On the top right, look for your profile image. If you see it, you're already signed in. If not, you aren't signed in.
3. If you have multiple home structures > click the drop down beside the home name on the right side to see your thermostat.
