I have a 1st generation nest thermostat that’s been working fine. I changed my Wi-Fi settings and my thermostat wasn’t connecting to Wi-Fi and I couldn’t get it to reconnect so I reset it to factory default. I went through and set it up and got it online but now when the thermostat calls for heat all I get is cold air. I figure it has to be one of the boxes I checked during set up. It’s a Bryant 80% forced air gas unit with an AC. Wiring was not changed during re-setup

I have this same issue, I also noticed that it says heat source is electric which mine is not and I never was given an option to choose my fuel source. Did you ever get yours resolved?

Solved the cold air problem but now I’d like to know how to prevent the high speed fan from coming on. The unit is in a closet in the hallway and is very loud.

Hey there,
I am glad to hear you were able to resolve the cold air issue. As for your fan, do you mind me asking if you have multi fan system? I found an article with more details on fan control with your device.
Best regards,
Jake

Hi Jake,
thanks for the follow up. I did mange to resolve my issue some what by telling the system after a reset that I have a dual system in order to get hearing to work and the app to stop displaying electric heat. I do not have a dual system but this was the only way I was able to make it work. Not sure if that will cause issues down the road but I think the thermostat is only made for electric or dual system which is not specified anywhere. Had I known I would have purchase a different thermostat. But I’m good now. Thank you
