Nest thermostat

Have just heating system (UK)

Message on thermostat 'your thermostat cannot control equipment properly"

Have reset to factory settings. Also I cannot get a blue light blinking on heat link which appears to be a requirement when serving up.

Equipment is only 9 months old and third generation. Also wi fi in property is working well

Any suggestions please?

Installing a nest learning thermostat in the uk use heat link terminals 1,2 and 3. (Or OT which is open therm) 
Push and hold the button on the Heat link for 30 seconds, and it should start pulsing blue. 
On the thermostat find settings then equipment. Most boilers in the UK are System boilers, on/off control, radiators. If your not sure email search Nest Pro London then email me

Unfortunately prior to trying your answer the thermostat stopped working. I have now completed the online guarantee for replacement, but still waiting for acknowledgement/response, how long do they take to reply?

Apologies for the delay in responding. I was referring to an online warranty claim to which I have not received any response and/or acknowledgement

I am not familiar with the warranty claims process, but I have researched a bit and also discussed it with some colleagues and it seems that for the thermostats, warranty claims are US exclusive. I recommend getting in contact with our live support team via chat, or this number +44(0) 808 169 2307 - Available 08:00 - 19:00 GMT Monday to Friday and 09:00 - 17:00 Saturday and Sunday. We can also continue troubleshooting here, just let me know how you want to proceed.

Thanks for your response. If you search for Google Nest warranties you will see UK is included. They have an excellent process which checks if warranty is applicable

At the moment I will not take further with yourselves, however I thank you for the assistance you have given
