I have a battery-powered thermostat for my gas fireplace. Only 2 wires, connected to the W1 and RH terminals. Can I use a Nest thermostat for the fireplace?20231218_122644.jpg

Hi brownk57,

Thanks for posting here in the Community forum and for showing interest in our Nest Thermostats. Fortunately, your thermostat wires are compatible with our Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd generation and Nest Thermostat E and should be wired to their bases as shown:

For Nest Thermostat E:

Take note that Nest Thermostats only require 24 V. Also, here's a guide for the installation and setup of a Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd generation and a Nest Thermostat E.

Let us know if that helps.

Best,

Zoe
