Nest won’t startup continuously rebooting

Hi,

My nest thermometer froze and now it won’t start back up. It’s stuck in a continuous loop only showing the google G and never reboots. It’s going to be 20 degrees here tonight. I need answers quick! I’ve restarted it multiple times and even tried charging it. It doesn’t change anything!

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Nest Thermostat is stuck during the startup and continuously rebooting; I’ll be more than glad to assist you.

To provide with support, I have some questions:

• What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?
• When you charge the Nest Thermostat, it shows you a message asking to reattach the thermostat to its base.
• Is there any blinking light, red or green, on the Nest Thermostat’s display?
• Have you tried to attach the Nest Thermostat to its base and press and hold the thermostat for 10 seconds to do a soft reset?
• For how much time have you charged the thermostat?
