Nest won't text me a verification code

For some reason, Nest has required that I sign into my IOS app.  When I do, it says that it will text me a verification code to my phone; however I have tried this several times and have not received a code.  It does not give ma an option to have it emailed to me.  What can I do?

No one here is getting any help. I'm having the same issue. I got a new phone but kept my number. The system will not text me the code needed to log in to my Nest thermostat account. I left another message below.

Is there a way to reset the verification phone number?  I don’t have access to the old number.

This is exactly what is happening to me.  Is there a resolution for this.  I have spent hours trying to resolve.

I'm having the same issue with my Galaxy S22 Ultra. There should absolutely be a way to receive the code via phone call or email. I kept the same number but have a new phone. Nest Support is nonexistent.

Did you ever receive a resolution? I'm having the same trouble. New OnePlus 9 5G phone, same #, not receiving text verification. 'Do not disturb' is not enabled. I've invested way too much time in trying to resolve.

Add me to the list of people having this issue. I have spoken to Nest customer service and their recommendation so far is to create a new account with a new gmail account. I have also called ATT to make sure there is no text message blocking on my iPhone. Very frustrating.
