We appreciate you informing us that your Nest thermostat did not keep the temperature set and that this resulted in a higher power cost. Let's sort this out.
You can maintain a certain temperature on the Nest Thermostat even when you're away by turning off the home/away assist.
- Open the Nest app.
- Tap Settings Nest settings icon on the home screen.
- Select Home/Away Assist.
Tap either the Home or Away icon at the top of the screen. You’ll find a summary of what each of your Nest products will do when your home is in that mode.
