I installed a new 3rd Gen Nest Learning thermostat and it is heating when supposed to be cooling. I don't have a heat pump, but a conventional A/C with a furnace. The wiring labels in the old thermostat were as follows:
The Nest doesn't have the same letters. For example, there is no plain 'Y' on the Nest, but a 'Y1'. And there is no plain 'W', but a 'W1' .
Any ideas on why it is calling for heating when it is set to cooling?
Thanks!
