New To Nest Thermostat

Hi,

We have recently moved in to a property where the previous tenants left a Nest Thermostat and Heat Link on kitchen wall.

We are having trouble with setting it up and it working with the boiler.

We have connected to wifi and cleared the previous schedule. When we set up a new schedule or just use the thermostat the boiler will fire up every 15 seconds - this happens all night. It doesn't seem to matter about the temperature. Last night we even turned every thing off and our boiler kept firing up.

Our Heat Link seems to operate the hot water is that correct?

Any help or advise will be greatly appreciated.

The first thing I would do is factory reset, that clears everything. You then know the Nest is working correctly.

Settings-Reset-Reset all settings

Then search on line fo the instructions, they are easily found.

Yes the heat link can be used for hot water.
