Current setup has wires on the dead thermostat R, C, E1, E2 which go to the furnace board in R C 1 and 2.

AC coming into the house connects to the furnace board is C and Y1

where am I hooking E1 and E2 up to on the nest plate?

I have pics if needed

Hi @SammyLJ,

Thanks for reaching out to the community! I'm happy to help you with your wiring configuration.

I really appreciate you mentioning the wire labels (1 and 2); they indicate a proprietary system. These systems typically only work with thermostats made by the same manufacturer. However, some may also be compatible with standard heating system wires.

In this case, I recommend contacting a local professional to see if your proprietary system can be rewired to work with Nest thermostats. For reference, this article, Identify a Thermostat Wire, can help you learn more about standard heating system wires.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Best regards,

Jenniffer
