Good day I’m considering a Google thermostat and currently have a separate heating and HVAC system. I would like to know if the Google nest thermostat will work with this type set up. Also, is there anything to consider when connecting a Wi-Fi thermostat that may interfere with an older oil burner?
Finally, does anyone know if Slomins installs Google WiFI thermostats?
Thank you

Only the Nest Learning Thermostat, 3rd Gen, will work with separate systems like the one you described.

Also, would an electrician be required to do the installation only? Would it require any oil furnace and HVAC knowledge? Thanks

Hello Rocco1,
Thanks for posting here in Community forum. A person with knowledge of HVAC can install your Nest Thermostat for you; however, we recommend a Nest Pro technician, who is a trained professional, come to your home and install and set up your Nest Thermostat. You can also contact a qualified independent Nest Pro installer in your area. Nest Pros is a network of independent companies or contractors not employed by Google.
Let us know if you have any other questions. We're happy to help.
I appreciate your help, @Patrick_Caezza.
Best,

I did, thank you. I installed it myself with the direction of a Pro from this forum. I’m all set, thanks.
