Newt thermostat not compatible

I have a similar problem to a lot of folks it seems. As I’m trying to install the thermostat, I’m told it’s not compatible but my AC system is long that old and seems pretty simple.

The wires I have are:

R, C, O, G, W2, E, Y1 and W1 are jumpered connected to Y1

i don’t know how to attach a pic or I would do it.

Meant to say that my AC unit is not that old. 

additionally, the online compatibility checker says the system is compatible but when I go to install it, the app tells me they are not compatible. I’m trying to install the cheaper smart thermostat…not the learning thermostat.

Firstly, it's great that you've provided a list of the wires you have: R, C, O, G, W2, E, Y1, and W1. It appears you've jumpered Y1 and W1, which is interesting and may be contributing to the compatibility error. The Nest Thermostats don't require you to use a jumper wire, so you can disregard it.
