Next works with heat/cooling fan doesn’t turn on

I didn’t have a C common so I used the fan as the common. The heat works but when I turn on the A/C only the compressor outside comes on and not the fan inside. The Nest says it will turn on in 2 hrs!

I touched the hot with the heating wire it worked. Touched to the cooling wire and only the compressor. So it’s not the Nest

Thanks for reaching out to us, and I appreciate the steps you took in resolving this matter and coming to the conclusion that this is not caused by the Nest Thermostat itself. In this case, I recommend you contact an HVAC Pro technician to come to your home and check the wires. Then, let us know how it goes.
