I went to turn on the heat this morning and was not getting any warm air. I set this up in the summer, so I have only used the cooling function. We are renting an apartment so I don’t know much of the details about our furnace. Could anyone give feedback on the wiring to see if something doesn’t look right? I have posted my current wiring and the wiring from my old thermostat.

Move the red wire to RC on Nest and see if that works.

Switch the white wire to W1.

Thanks for everyone’s suggestions. I tried each of them last night and unfortunately it still isn’t working. I put back on the old thermostat and the heat works fine so it isn’t a furnace issue.

I’m having the same problem

Heat will only blow cold air. Had service tech out said it was the best not calling for heat when it is set on heat. I went and bought nest thermostat , same model, same problem. It worked fine last year. Furnace is less than 1 year old.

Hi folks,
I appreciate all the steps you have all taken, and I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.
Thanks for your assistance and suggestions, @Houptee and @Todbone.
@MichaelRuiz91, @Moscatopenn, @Doughnut12, @ADiMare3, I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused—let's see what's going on.
Checking for system orientation might help too. You can go to your Nest thermostat's equipment settings to change the configuration. Have a look at this article and let us know if you need more help.
