Need help as I am not getting an email when resetting password.
Any thoughts?

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. We're sorry for any trouble this may have caused you. Let's see what's going on. Have you looked into your junk mail, spam mail, and promotional emails? Also, may I know if you are getting any kind of error message when you try to reset your account password?

Yes I did check all mail.
Reset password states it 's sending an email but it never arrives.
I did see a feed here that stated it might work with my Google account so I tried that and it worked.
I would prefer to use my nest account though. Appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.

@Rerudnick, thanks for getting back to us. To confirm, what app are you using to sign in your Google account? Is your account migrated? Did you successfully reset your password and be able to have access to your Nest devices?
