I have a 1st gen/2nd Gen learning thermostat. Last night the Nest App on my iPhone lost connectivity to the thermostat. Have done a factory reset and followed all other directions (deleted and reinstalled the Nest app, restarted my router, etc). The thermostat still won’t produce an entry key. I receive a note that says “There was a problem connecting to the service. Try again later”. It has been like this for 14 hrs.

Nearly a week with no response or insight from support?

Hello SteeCree,
I'm sorry for the delayed response, and I appreciate that you've tried to find a fix. Let's figure out why your thermostat couldn't generate an entry key.
Have you completed the setup of your thermostat without a Wi-Fi network? If so, going over the steps here might help:
Please let me know if that helps or if the issue still persists.
Thanks,
Mark

Thanks for checking back. Finally returned to the site and did three router resets before the key was supplied. I consider this closed. Thanks.
