You do not use jumpers on the Nest.

Red in the R

w to w, y to y, g to g

but the Nest needs a C wire so if you have a extra wire in the cable in the wall you can use it as a C wire.

You would need to go to the furnace and connect it to the C screw there also.

If there is no extra wire then you need to pull a new cable with 5 conductors to the Nest or get the power adapter.

Both methods require the furnace to have a screw marked C where the thermostat wires connect.

Thanks for info : had a blue common wrapped around wire bunch plugged it into C spot  . Fan continues to cycle , no heat , app: reads “delayed” keeps doing power test / Wi-Fi disconnect.
Also white wire from O/B plugged into O/B on nest .

Also when setting up thermostat /app: shows no contact at C , cut , cleaned wire still the same .

You need to go to your furnace and take front panel off to find where the thermostat wires connect. Verify the blue wire is connected to a screw marked C or if a Trane it will be B screw.

Post pics of the wires at the furnace so we can see if they match up to the Nest wires.

Hello Alannest,

I'm sorry for the late reply, and thanks for sharing with us your control board photo. Big help!

I can confirm that the blue wire should be on the C terminal for your Nest Thermostat and follow the rest of its wiring setup. But how's your thermostat? Still need our help? Let us know so we can assist you right away.

Thanks for helping here, @Houptee.

Regards,

Mark
