I installed my Nest two days ago. Each morning since I get a No Power message until I flip the furnace breaker and take the Nest off it’s base and put it back on. Will I need to always do this?

I’m having the same problem. I’ve changed the batteries on both units (but the are both hard wired, so confused why I have to do that).

Hey folks,
Sorry for the delay here but thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community.
You shouldn't be taking off your thermostat's display from it's base, MMB. Let's take a closer look at what's going on.
Based on what you've mentioned, it seems that your Nest thermostat is constantly loosing power. What specific Nest thermostat is this? Did it work before on your HVAC system? If yes, were there recent changes made on your HVAC system or thermostat? Also, are you getting a specific code on your thermostat display?
Please provide photos of your thermostat wires as well so I can check on them further.
Best,
Melba
