Not hearing my house as a typically would in previous months?

Hello,

For the past few weeks, when i set a “heat” temp the thermostat does not kick on/blow air even if it drops below that temp. For example, today i had it set at 69 heat, the house dropped to 68 and it did not heat up until i physically set the temp to 70 on my phone/ nest. Than, it seems when it heats the house at 70 it almost gets “too” warm or is on without shutting off. I have spoken to nest technical help and they wanted me to change wiring but I don’t think that’s the case because it’s worked fine for the past year or so? I checked my physical air conditioner, and nothing seems bad on that, and I even changed the air. Any advice? Thanks

Hi Mfrankel88,

Yikes! I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your Nest Thermostat not kicking on the heat when the temperature drops below the set point. Are you located in North America or Europe? Can you send us the case ID from your conversation with our support? If you can provide that here, I'll look it up and see how I can continue to help.

Keep us posted.

Best,

Zoe
