Not receiving password reset email

I installed my new Nest learning thermostat a few months ago, and have forgotten the password to access my Nest app or home Nest account. No longer sure which email address I used to create the account, I have used every email address I have (including my Gmail address) asking that I be sent an email to reset my password, but no emails have arrived at any of those email addresses, and none exist in the spam or junk folders for any of them.  I tried creating a new account using my Gmail address to access the thermostat, but when I tried that, the thermostat says it is already connected to another account. As a result, I can't use the app or otherwise connect from the app or my laptop to the thermostat.

Thanks for posting.

 

I suggest factory resetting your Nest Thermostat so you can set it up using a new account. Check this guide for more details.
