Note 260 on Nest Thermostat

My Nest Thermostat is working fine but needs external power I think. I'm getting Note 260. Also I'm replacing the AAA batteries often

Hello RayJ,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry. Let's sort this out.

If your Nest Thermostat shows the N260 message report, it means the thermostat receives low power. This alert is fixable with the proper installation of the Nest Power Connector. To confirm:

 

  • Did you install a Nest Power Connector?
  • Could you share with us a photo of how you installed it?
  • Check and make sure that your thermostat's software is up-to-date.
