Old Nest Still Linked

Hello. I had a thermostat with my ex husband. I have moved and have my own place now. I need to set up my thermostat but it keeps linking back to original account with him. What do I do?

If your ex-husband is a member of the Google Nest "household" for the Google Nest "home/structure" where the thermostat is installed, I think he could simply remove you from the "household" in Settings | Household in the Google Home app.  If he is NOT, then I think you could invite him to be a member of your "household", have him accept the invite (on his Google Account), and them have him remove you from the "household".  If you're both in the "household", I also think you could just "leave"  the "household".
