I have 3 Nest Gen 3 Learning Thermostats in my house. A couple of days ago the newest of the 3 lost wifi and will no longer connect to wifi or Nest app, even after resetting/restarting a dozen times. It finds no wifi networks, even if I type the network name in the set up screen. No issues with the other 2 that are a year older, but all 3 are the same model.

Mine has done the same today, the thermostat works fine but the app says offline? tried everything but no joy.

Anyone from Google that can help here? Looks like the usual resolution for this issue is to get a replacement due to the wifi chip going bad. Thanks!

I’ve spoken to Google today and they want my credit card details before they will send out a replacement, is this normal?

Resolution is Google is sending a replacement. Seemed normal for credit card authorization since they are sending the replacement before I send the defective one to them. They are not charging the card, just authorizing a charge in the event you don’t send back the defective device.
