Password protected Thermostat unwanted!

JackL
Community Member

I do not want to have to use a password on my NEST APP b/c I need free and easy access to change temperatures to 3 thermostats in 3 different states!  I do not see the need for password protecting on my thermostat!
Pls advise comments how to remove the password protection!
thanks

Jack L

You need a password on any internet connected home appliance, as if it was simply open then anyone would be able to hijack your system.  You can have one account that controls all three, and you can have your phone remember your password so you don't need to log in each time.
