My main Nest Gen 3 won’t respond to my iPhone App if I’m away from home.  I think the password needs changing but when I request a link to change the password I’m not receiving an email to do this. Any suggestions?

I know this sounds a bit obvious but have you checked your email spam folder just incase the mails are going there. also is you email address uptodate in the app maybe ?

Sorry for the delayed response, Julieann but thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community. I wanted to drop by and check if everything is covered here. Have you tried A1d360's suggestion? Also, do you have a migrated Google account or are you still using the old Nest one?
