Hi,just received my Nest learning thermostat, I hope someone may be able to help. My current thermostat has an orange wire going to terminal U.2. There is also a jumper from U1 to R0. I cannot find our what these U terminals are and the corresponding connection to the Nest. I have attached a phot of the Honeywell wiring

thank you

Hi RDosch,

Thanks for reaching out. Upon checking, the U terminals for your current thermostat are for the humidifier. Google Nest Learning Thermostats are compatible with most whole-home humidifiers and dehumidifiers that work independently from your air conditioner. However, professional installation is strongly recommended. You can check this link to learn more about our Nest Pro services.

Thanks,

Edward
