Problem with Nest thermostat

Set temp at 72 come home its saying 85-87 scheduled it on dial and app kicks on not cooling.

We need to verify your system is working correctly.  You say it comes on, but does not cool.  Can you go to the outdoor unit and verify it is running too?  To work properly, the outdoor unit must have a running compressor and the condenser fan motor must be spinning.

When I set thermostat at specific temp on the dial or schedule it, it kicks on but dial indicates 10 or more degrees higher. Thermostat was replaced last week, freon checked, condenser replaced.

Also when I manually turn the temp down on the dial it cools off but obviously takes hrs.

It was the ac capacitor they replaced

Wait, they replaced your entire condenser unit? You replaced your Nest Thermostat last week too?

Not the complete ac unit. Yea thermostat replaced last week.
