Can you please tell me how to safely access the QR code on the back of the thermostat face? What is the secret to taking the round face off the base, without damage? Thanks!

The QR code is on the back of the thermostat. Just pull the thermostat straight away from the wall to expose the code. Make sure you line up the connector on the control with the connector on the wall plate before you put it back. Just be careful that you don't throw the thing across the room when you tug it off the wall. 🙂
