R and RC wires and a jumper, app says incompatible after website said compatible?

You need to look at the terminal block on the control board in the furnace/air handler and see what the red and brow wires are connected to. Having both an Rc and an Rh wire means typically you can only use the Nest Learning Thermostat, 3rd Gen. All of the other Nest thermostats are not compatible.
