Hi all,
I attempted to install a Nest Thermostat today and the installation app said that our system is not compatible. I presume that is because there is a jumper wire that connects R and RC (see picture below).
Is the Nest Thermostat not compatible with our wiring? Or would the Nest Thermostat work without the jumper?
Finally, if the Nest Thermostat is not compatible, would the Nest Learning Thermostat be compatible with our system?
Thanks I'm advance for your help!

Don't enter the jumper wire between R and RC during setup, as Nest Thermostats don't use jumper wires. Your setup is compatible with Nest Thermostat, just connect your red wire to the R terminal in Nest Thermostat and don't connect the jumper wire.
