RC and RH were jumpered. Will my Nest thermostat work? Or was I suppose to get the Next Learning?

Here’s a pic of how the old thermostat was wired. I installed a Nest Thermostat but am not confident and read I should have bought the Nest Learning because RC and RH are jumpered.

Your system has a single R wire. It can be plugged into either the Rc or Rh terminals. Do not install the jumper on the Nest thermostat. If you'd like to verify this for yourself, use the compatibility checker at https://store.google.com/us/widget/compatibility/thermostat. Mark that you have both Rc and Rh. It will ask you on the next screen if they are jumpered. It will then tell you that the Nest Thermostat, Nest Learning Thermostat, and Nest Thermostat E should work with your system. Also see https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9250973 for more info.

I also notice there is a blue wire in the picture that isn't attached to anything. It's possibly a C wire but you should check if it's connected on the other end as it may or may not be necessary.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my post. It was very helpful and I’m good to go. Many thanks DaveLister.
