I've been using a nest Thermostat and Protects since 2014, and at that time I set up a works with nest linkage between my home automation system and the thermostat. This was all prior to Google buying the brand and closing down the works with Nest API. Everything has worked faultlessly until a week ago, when I had to reset the Home Automation system and lost all my data, including the Works With Nest API key.
Although the linkage is still present in my (non-migrated) account and visible on the App, I can't restore the link with my system without the API key. I've requested a data dump from Nest, but there is no WWN data included. Is there any way I can recover my lost key?
