Looking to remove Nest thermostat temporarily while replacing wall. I need instructions on how to physically remove Nest, not from the app / not the old owner / etc. Thanks!

Hey jtmartell, 

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Google Nest Community. 

In order to remove the Nest thermostat from your wall, you just need to make sure first that your breaker is turned off. Once done, gently pull the display off the base then unscrew the base from your wall. Be sure to check that the wires are properly labelled and capped as well.
