Remove Nest thermostat

I have two residences both nest thermostats that I was able to run off the app I recently sold one of my residence and would like to remove that thermostat off the app I’ve tried resetting deleting the app etc. any assistance would be helpful because it keeps showing that I am away and is affecting my current thermostat of where I reside.

Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the delay. 

Take a look at the steps below in order to take off that thermostat from your Nest app:

1. Sign in to your Nest app.
2. If you have another home, on the app home screen, tap Menu at the top-left corner. Then select the home that has the product you'd like to remove.
3. On the app home screen, tap Settings.
4. Tap the product that you'd like to remove.
5. Scroll down and select Remove.
6. You'll then be asked to confirm your choice.

It is also best that you reach out to the new owner of the residence and ask them to reset that thermostat to it's default settings by following the steps here: https://bit.ly/3moipVu
