I need to tighten the screws that attach the base to the wall. Therefore, I have to remove the display from the base. The trouble is it won't budge, and I want to be careful not to rip the wires out by pulling too hard.
Is there a trick to this, or a certain place on the ring to squeeze, etc?
Sorry, but I'm just too old to still be very handy!

Hi @mbespikee
You can remove it by holding it from the sides and then pull. Check this video. 😊

@mbespikee, I wanted to ensure you are good to go. Were able to detach your Nest thermostat display from its base? Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
Thanks,
Mark
