Replacing Aprilaire 8840 thermostat with nest

Currently, my new house has the AprilAire system as mentioned in the photo; I wanted to replace with Google Nest. Can someone guide me what wire goes where in the Google Nest? I am confused as i could see numbers 1234 where all the youtube videos talk about R, Rh, W1, Y1, G, C etc. Appreciate any help on this. Thanks!

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community forum. We'd be happy to take a look into this for you. Please answer the following:

  1. Are you from North America or Europe?
  2. Which Nest thermostat do you have or plan to have?
  3. From the photo you sent us, it seems like your current thermostat is connected to the zone control board. Can you send us a copy of the wiring diagram?

Also, here is our compatibility checker to check if your current HVAC system is compatible with our Nest thermostat.
