Replacing White & Rogers 1F80-361

Hi!

We’re replacing a White & Rogers 1F80-361 thermostat to the Nest. My boyfriend did not take a photo of the original wiring in the thermostat and we know that makes things difficult. 🙂

There’s a blue, green, white and red wire. On the original thermostat, there was a jumper from RC to RH.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Shelbirae,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand that you need help connecting your wires on your new Nest Thermostat device. I'm happy to help you with this. To better understand your situation, I need to ask a few questions:

  • What model of Google Nest Thermostat do you have?
  • What kind of HVAC system do you have? (Heat pump, conventional system, etc.)
  • Could you send me a picture of your control board so I can see what the connection labels are?

I'll be waiting for your response.

Regards,

Manuel

Hi Manuel!

Someway, somehow, we figured it out! I tried deleting this thread but I was unsuccessful. I really appreciate you following up!

@ShelbiRae

Look at the control board in the furnace/air handler and post a picture of the terminal block here.
