Hello! I currently have a Honeywell thermostat that is failing, and I'm trying to replace it with a Nest. However, the nest Y, C, W labeled on the left side of the backplate, and G, R, *OB on the right, while the Honeywell has been working with only four wires, one red and one white on both sides. Ho should I proceed?
Thanks for your help!

When you are replacing a thermostat with Nest, don't worry about the wire colors. You are most concerned about the labels on the terminals that the wires are attached to.
Take note of which terminals have connections on your old thermostat and then go to the Nest thermostat compatibility checker to see if your new Nest thermostat is compatible with your system. https://nest.com/widget/thermostat-compatibility/
