Replacing thermostat with remote sensor

SolatarioKensi

Hi, my current thermostat has a remote sensor in the hallway (probably the best place in the house for a sensor). Is there any way to continue using that remote sensor? And if not, what is the best option to put a sensor in the hall? I used to have a hive, and that separated the hub and the thermostat allowing me to mount the thermostat anywhere…

Hi SolatarioKensi,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Google Nest Community.

I found this article that would further help you about your Nest Temperature Sensor. This could be your guide on where to efficiently place your sensors.

Let us know if you have further questions.

Regards,

Ryan
