Reset Nest Thermostats

My Nest thermostat is locked. I have forgotten my pin. Unfortunately, at the same time my thermostat also went offline. Now I am unable to access my thermostat. I have followed online instruction and got the  Technical Info.plist file. What do I do with this file?
